Principles

The rules every Signal surface follows.

Map firstOne map always fills the screen. Home, Nearby, Search and stop detail all live in one inset floating sheet above it. The system Liquid Glass tab bar floats over the sheet and only chooses its page.
Line colour means a lineCTA colours appear only on route icons, station icons, route filters, line bars, markers, timelines and map line overlays. Train lines stay drawn whenever a station is shown on a map. Never for status.
Status is a word firstDue, Delayed and alerts are text or a glyph. Colour reinforces, never carries, meaning.
Cards are the unitGrey cards on white. No nesting, no shadows on cards. Sheets and floating controls carry elevation.
One of eachOne primary action per surface, one gutter, one radius per role, one icon family.
